George Dixon McNulty, son of John R. McNulty Memorial (# 91416704) and his mother was unknown. George's first wife; Mary Ann (Adamson) Mc Nulty (Memorial ( #142029170).

According to P. Ray Stanley states that George's death certificate says that his father's name was John Mc Nulty and his mother was unknown. His mother died when he was 4 years old.

Turkio Man Dies in Hospital at
Maryville Following Fall
From Scaffold

George Dixon McNulty, Tarkio
carpenter, died Saturday in St. Fran-
cis hosptial at Maryville as a result of
injuries sustained Friday in a fall at
the old North Missouri Lumber Com-
pany yard. He was 68 years old.
Mr. McNulty was at work on a
scaffold, tearing down one of the old
lumber sheds, when the accident oc-
cured. It is believed a board against
which he was leaning gave away. He
fell from the scaffold and landed with
his back across a two-by-four. His
spine was broken in two places.
Mr. McNulty was born July 13,
1870, in Brown county, Ohio, a son
of Mr. and Mrs. John McNulty. He
moved to Atchison county during his
boyhood and lived here for more than
fifty years. On January 4, 1903, he
married Mabel A. Eaton in Rock Port.
He is survived by his wife; one
son. G. Mervin McNulty of Union, N.
J.; a step-daughter, Miss Thelma
Eaton of Albany, N.Y.; and the fol-
lowing brothers and sisters; Mrs. Eli-
zabeth Roush, Custer City, Okla.;
William A., Oscar, John and U.S.
Grant McNulty, Tarkio; Mrs. J.P.
Erickson, Marysville; Mrs. Nell White,
Ripley, Ohio.
Mr. McNulty was a member of the
First Methodist Episcopal church of
Tarkio.
Funeral servicews were conducted
Wednesday afternoon at the Metho-
dist church by the Rev. Dr. C.H.
Law. Interment was in the home cem-
tery.
