Verna C. CHERRY, 81, of Greensburg, died Friday, Dec. 1, 2000. She was born Aug. 4, 1919, in Pleasant Unity, a daughter of the late James and Jessie CHAMBERS. She was a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church, In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph B. Cherry Jr.; a son, Joel; [sic-Joseph III], her brother, Merle Chambers; and her sister, Gladys McCREERY. Friends will be received at the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME INC., 524 N. Main St., Greensburg, Interment will follow in St. Clair Cemetery.
