Mrs. Minerva Alden Learmont
Mrs. Minerva Alden Learmont, 74, died at Northampton November 29.She had been in poor health for two years. She was born in Ware, but had spent the larger part of her early life in Shelburne Falls. She moved to North Adams in 1890 where she lived for about 17 years, returning to Shelburne Falls some 10 years ago and made her home on Mechanic street. She is survived by five daughters, Lizzie Mann of Millers Falls, Minnie Coy off West Brattleboro, Vt. Bertha Learmont of Adams, Bessie Manning and Miss Ruth Learmont of Shelburne Falls, 2 brothers, Charles Alden of Shelburne Falls, and Herbert Alden of Bosie, Id. an several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Manning. Rev. S. H. Walker officiating. Burial was in Arms Cemetery.

Information found by Jim Ryan; a James Lemont died in Minnchaka, Clark, Washington. June 11, 1924. Information on the 1920 census and death record indicate this is very likely James Hunter Learmont.
