Hattie (Sneed) Godfrey Lindsay, 91, formerly of School House Hill, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, July 1st, 2012 in Gainesville, GA.
She was a native of Swain County, and daughter of the late Henry David and Stella (Barker) Sneed. She was one of the former owners of Sneeds Restaurant. She was a former Alder Woman for the Town of Bryson City and member of the Bryson City United Methodist Church.
She is survived by three daughters; Vicki Griffin and husband David of Gainesville, GA; Terry Ramey and husband H.J. of Cedar Shoals, AL and Joi Page and husband Ronnie of Clayton, GA, 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday in the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Pastor Royeese Stowe will officiate with burial in the Bryson City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm Thursday at the Funeral Home.
