Funeral services for Asa Freeman Knox were held Tuesday afternoon in the Methodist church. The Rev. John Long officiated.
Preceding the church rites, there was a short service in the home of Mr. Knox's daughter, Mrs. Everett Leibendorfer. Dean Holdsworth and Margaret Gilliand sang "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" at the home and "in the Garden" at the church.
Pallbearers were Edward Mack, Lew Cannum, George Smith, Alfred Bodeem, Will Stancliff and Clyde Carnanham. Burial was in Bethel cemetery, west of Viola.
