Jane was listed in earlier censuses as Amanda Jane and in later censuses as Jane A. Her first name was probably Amanda. I put her down as Jane Amanda since that is the what she went by for most of her life.
I have not yet found where her first husband, Herod Choate, was buried. Jane married Herod in 1879. Herod died in Clackamas County, OR in 1906. After Herod died, Jane married at least 2 more times, that I know of.
