Mrs Bowman was the daughter of the late Turner and Elizabeth Bartley and the wife of Ben D. Bowman. Three stepchildren, Billie Bowman, Mrs Luree Carter and Jack Bowman where she passed away, Sunday afternoon. She is also survived by three brothers, Benton, Oscar and Bedford. A sister Mrs Ben Williams. Funeral servicers were conducted Tuesday afternoon by Bro. Tom Clemons and M.T. Phemister. Mrs Bowman suffered a stroke.
