GROVER CLINTON MAUK WAS THE SIBLING OF HAROLD FRANKLIN AND LOWELL EDWARD MAUK.
ROGERSVILLE – Grover "Geter" Mauk, age 70, Rogersville, died Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2000, at Holston Valley Hospital and Medical Center following a brief illness.
He was a member of Cold Springs Freewill Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Paul Mauk; and brother, Lowell Mauk.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley R. Mauk of the home; a daughter, Luwanna Sue Mauk, Rogersville; a son, James C. Mauk, Rogersville; two grandchildren, Austin and Hunter Mauk; mother, Ola Mae Mauk, Surgoinsville; a brother, Harold Mauk Sr., Surgoinsville; several nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and -nephews; and a great-great-nephew.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 2, 2000, at Colboch-Price Chapel, Rogersville, with Rev. Pat Hammond officiating. Eric House and Dawn Lyons will provide music. Interment will follow in the Looney Cemetery.
Friends may call any time at the residence of Henry Spears, 505 West Broadway, Rogersville, and from 6 - 8 p.m. Friday, September 1, 2000, at Colboch-Price Funeral Home, Rogersville.
