Charles C. Morehouse, of West Lafayette, died Monday evening [March 15, 1937] at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Born February 20, 1876, he was a lifelong resident of Tippecanoe County. He had lived in the Hebron neighborhood before coming to West Lafayette 20 years ago.
Thirty-seven years ago, he was married to Carrie E. Bushawn, who survives, along with a son, Clarence S. Morehouse; and two sisters, Mrs. Jessie Grove and Miss Tryphena Morehouse, both of West Lafayette. He was a member of West Lafayette Baptist Church.
Services will be held Thursday at 10 AM from Soller-Baker Funeral Home, Rev. Joseph Beard Gleason officiating; burial at Grand View Cemetery.
