She was born in Weskau, KS on May 22, 1919 and came to Raymond, WA in 1923. She later moved to Seattle and graduated from Queen Anne High School there. After her marriage in 1958 to Jerome Bogart in San Diego, she had lived in several cities as she followed him in his military career.
At one time she had been a waitress on the ferry Kalakala. They had also lived in Hawaii and Covina, CA. She had also been a waitress at Glacier Lanes in Everett. She was very active in the Everett Senior Center helping on the bus tours. She also liked bowling, arts and crafts, crossword puzzles and bingo.
She is survived by two daughters, Arlene Norris and Betty Kelly, both of Aberdeen.
Inurnment will be in Forest Lawn Covina Hills, Covina, CA. The family suggests memorials may be made to the Everett Senior Center, 30th and Lombard, Everett, WA 98204. Arrangements by Fern Hill Funeral Home, Aberdeen. Published in The Herald (Everett) on February 16, 2002
