Mr. Beaupre was born July 30, 1947, in White Earth, Minn. He attended school in White Earth and Waubun, Minn. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. After his discharge, he moved to Minneapolis and worked for the 7-Up Bottling Co. He then moved to the Detroit Lakes, Minn., area and attended Detroit Lakes Vocational College, where he earned a welding certificate. He worked for Mid-America Steel Co. in Fargo. On June 7, 1975, he married Jean Teiken in Detroit Lakes. They moved to Fargo in 1977.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Paul, Fargo; a daughter, Christene, Grand Forks, N.D.; his mother, Lucille Beaupre, Ogema, Minn.; a brother, Joel (Ruth), Detroit Lakes; three sisters, Karen (Nels) Mortenson, Ogema, Cheryl (Rodney) Kjolberg, Waubun, Linda (Duane) Gullard, West Charleston, Vt.
