Born in Hunlock Creek, daughter of Oscar and Melba Trantz Hunter, Shickshinny, she resided in Swey Valley most of her life..
Surviving besides her parents are her husband, Warren; children, Robert Baker, Wilkes Barre; Frederick Baker, Orlando, Fla.; James Baker, Berwick; Mrs. Thelman Shotwell and Mrs. Mary Yaple, both of Sellersille; 19 grandchildren: sisters Mrs. Grace Souder, Sweet Valley; Mrs. Irene Brown, Athens; Mrs. Josephine Yaple, Berwick; Mrs. Evelyn Belcher, Nanticoke; Mrs. Cora Cruba, Plymouth; brothers, Carl Hunter, Flagtown, N.J.; Arthur Hunter, Wanamie; Orville Hunter, Sweet Valley; Leon Hunter, Raritan, N.J.
Funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. from Bronson Funeral Home, Sweet Valley, with Rev. Harold Lord of Headley Grove Church officiating. Burial in Bethel Hill Cemetery.
