Mrs. Henrietta [Hattie S.] Abraham, 88, died January 13, 1973 at 6:30 at Immanuel Hospital, Mankato. She had been ill one day and died of a stroke.
She was born in Janesville Twp., Waseca County, May 26, 1884, to Mr. and Mrs. August and Johanna Quade. She attended rural schools.
December 20, 1905, she married Emil G. Abraham of Smiths Mill at Janesville. He preceded his wife in death January 12, 1961.
She is survived by a daughter, Gladys, at home; a son Wayne, both of Janesville; four grandsons and five great grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Adeline Schwandt, rural Janesville.
Funeral services were Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, smiths Mill, Rev. R.G. Luebchow officiated and burial was in Janesville Cemetery. Pall bearers were William and George Engel, Harry and Arlow Blasing, Lowell and Maynard Schwandt.
She was preceded in death by a son, Harry, her husband, four sisters and one brother.
Arnoldt Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
