Funeral Services Held Monday For Mrs. Bazemore
Life-long Taylor County Citizen Succumbs After Lingering Illness

Mrs Harriett Heath Bazemore, 67, died at her home in Butler about four o'clock Sunday afternoon. She had been in ill health for the past few years.
Mrs. Bazemore was born in the county December 23, 1875, the daughter of the late Mr M T and Mrs Antonette Riley Heath. She was married in early womanhood to W E Bazemore who preceded his wife in death a number of years ago. As a young lady she united with the Antioch Baptist Church. After moving to Butler, she transferred her membership to the local Methodist church.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bazemore were held at Antioch Baptist Church Monday afternoon. The ministers taking part in the last sad rites included Rev F J Gilbert and Rev M T Gaultney of Butler, Rev Hugh Dozier and Rev Ray Bond of Ellaville, and Rev Hawkins of Thomaston. Interment was in the family plot at Antioch cemetery.
Pall bearers included, Messrs H B and Murry Walker, Leon Theus, C C Stone, W H Suggs, and J R Wilson.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. B W Smith, of Thomaston, Mrs, J B Mc Manus, of Roberta, and Mrs. Adon Trussell of Butler; four sons, Messrs E. H., Riley, and Gordon Bazemore, of Butler, and Mr C W Bazemore of Akin, SC; also nine grandchildren; Mrs Willard Brunson, Carolyn and Gloria Bazemore, Hollis Smith, LeRoy Cooper, Murrell Willis, Forest and William Bazemeore. -From Love in the Family ,contrib. # 48149498 with thanks.
