Ingeborg was born in Grimsrud, Tingelstad, Norway; daughter of Cornelius Pederson Tuff and Anne Oldsdatter Roisum. She married Nils Rosendahl, Feb 12, 1863 in Gran, Oppland, Norway. Her brother Peder and his family immigrated to America and in 1882 sponsored Ingeborg, Nels and their family to come to America. They set up a homestead along with others in La qui Parle County, MN. Ingeborg was a homemaker and midwife. There were stories that she delivered over 500 babies in Norway and America and never lost a one. Nils and Ingeborg lived their entire lives in this area of Minnesota. They raised 8 children, 7 were born in Norway.
