Mrs. Hermina R. Hain, 54, 219 Scott street, former resident of Muscatine, died at St. Anthony's Hospital, at 7 p.m., Monday. Death was caused by complication of injuries received in an automobile accident in Rock Island, on Sept. 14.
Born in Washington county, Iwa, on Sept. 17, 1880, she received her education in schools there. In 1910 she was married in Muscatine to Harry Hain. The couple came to Davenport five years ago, making their home here since.
Mrs. Hain was a member of the United Brethren of Muscatiine.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Helen Brown, Rock Island and Miss Maude Hain, Davenport; two sons, Hubert, Davenport and Joseph Richardson, Rock Island; two stepchildren, Mrs. Violet Lewis, Muscatine, and Donald Hain, Muscatine; and six grandchildren.
The body was taken to Runge's mortuary, where services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. The body will then be taken to Washington, Iowa, where rites will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Oak Ridge cemetery, Washington.
