The Warren County native was a retired farmer, a World war Ii Army veterian and a Church of Christ member. He was a son of the late Virgil Ashlock and Maggie Kerr Ashlock.
Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Johnson-Vaughn Funeral Home with burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 4 p.m.-9p.m. today at the funerial home.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy L. Ashlock;a son, Richard Ashlock of Hiram, Ga.;five daughters, Janice Wilson, Sharon McGown, Kathy Neighbors and Teresa Ashlock, all of Bowling Green, and JoAnne "Jody" Cox of Rockfield; four sisters, Ina Proctor and Ola Mahaney, both of Bowling Green; 13 grandchildren; Two stepgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
