Funeral Services for Edith Juanita Morris Batchler Collins, 81, of Denmark, SC will be held eleven am Monday, July 2, 2012 at Ashleigh Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. The Reverend Bob Scroggs will be officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Mrs. Edith passed away Friday June 29, 2012.
Born in Old Ellenton she was a daughter of the late Clifford Morris and Lillie Randall Morris. She was a homemaker and member of Ashleigh Baptist Church. She was first married to the late Robert Lee Batchler and was the widow of Joseph P. Collins.
Survivors include daughter, JoAnn C. (Larry) Kuester of Swainsboro, Ga.; sons, Randy L. (Lynette) Batchler of Hilda, Ronnie L. Batchler of Lexington, Ricky K. Batchler of Olar; sister, Annie Lou Hartzog of Denmark; brother, Wallace Morris of Blackville; eleven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Robbie Batchler and a daughter, Wanda Juanita Batchler Hiers.
