James graduated from Frank Phillips High School in Phillips, Texas in 1966 and joined the Army in 1967. He served his country in Vietnam April 1967 thru April 1968 as Specialist Four as Teletype Traffic Analyst. Then in Korea from May 1969 to February 1969, as a Specialist Five.
James has resided in Blue, Oklahoma the past 25 years. Mr. Hall was a retired landscaper.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Steve Hall.
James is survived by two brothers, Wayne Hall of Durant, Oklahoma and David Hall and wife Gloria of Borger, Texas; one sister -in-law, Janet Hall of Las Vegas, Nevada; two sisters, Dorothy Faye Butler and husband Donald of Borger, Texas and Barbara Butler and husband Jimmy of Blue, Oklahoma; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend Marni Lockwood of Kingston, Oklahoma.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, June 28, 2012, at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Chapel with Rev. David Rodriguez officiating the service.
