Nancy Ann Biskeborn, 74, of Ord, NE. died Thursday, June 28, 2012, at Valley County Health System in Ord, NE.

Nancy Ann was born Nov. 2, 1937, at Fremont, NE. to Carl A. and Margaret I. (Rasmussen) Andersen.

She was raised in Fremont, NE. where she received her education.

On Nov. 10, 1956, Nancy was united in marriage to Walter Lee Biskeborn at Fremont, NE.

The couple moved to North Loup where they raised their four oldest children. They owned and operated a bar in North Loup, NE. before returning to Fremont, NE. Nancy worked at the Omaha World Herald and they raised the last child. The couple moved to Ord, NE. where Nancy worked at the Veterans Club and later owned and operated the Daylight Donut Shop.

They retired in Corpus Christi, TX. and later settled in Ord, NE. to spend their last years with family and grandchildren.

Nancy was a member of the VFW Auxiliary.

She enjoyed planting flowers, fishing, and camping. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors are: son, Charles Biskeborn, of Fremont, NE.; daughters, Marianne Biskeborn, and her friend, Chuck Oliver, of Ord, NE., Peggy Biskeborn, and her friend, Joe Heywood, of Scottsbluff, NE. and Connie Greenland, and her husband, Clint, of Ord, NE.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild; brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Karen Andersen of Charles City, IA., Mike and Sue Andersen of Le Mars, IA. and Dennis and Carol Andersen of Roswell, N.M.; sisters and brother-in-law, Carolyn Bells of Fremont, NE. and Donna and Craig Klingenberg of Wood River, NE.

Nancy was preceded in death by: parents; husband, Walter Biskeborn, who passed away on March 4, 2012; son, Walter Lee Biskeborn, Jr.; brother, Toby Andersen; and sister, Sue Dahlhauser.

Nancy Ann Biskeborn bequeathed her body to the Nebraska Anatomical Board at the University Medical Center in Omaha.
