Virginia Dunbar McQueen's Great-Great-Grandfather on her paternal side of the family was Richard Stockton, a signer of the Declaration of Independence. Richard Stockton

Her and her husband's only descendant was through their first born child, Douglass McQueen, Sr. One grandchild , Douglas McQueen, Jr. (1923-2003) who was a registered Son of the Revolution. Unfortunately never had any children. Before his death, he donated a portrait of Virginia to the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery, but it's not visible on the website.
