Anthony Glade "Tony" Clampet, 69, of Belton, died Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at a Temple Hospital. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 30, 2012, at the Belton Church of Christ with Minister Joe Baisden officiating. Burial will follow at the North Belton Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday evening at the Dossman Funeral Home.

Tony was born in Haworth, Oklahoma, to Lawrence and Isabel (McClure) Clampet. He married Barbara Green on September 4, 1965 in Redland, Oklahoma. He was a nine year veteran of the U. S. Army. They made their home in Belton in 1972. Tony was a graduate of the FAA Academy in Oklahoma. He worked for many years as an electronic technician with civil service at Ft. Hood. He was a member of the Belton Church of Christ, serving as a deacon for a few years.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Clampet, of Belton; son, Brian Clampet and wife, Melody, of Academy; daughters, Stacy Clampet Roberts and husband, Mike, of Bentonville, Arkansas, and Stephanie Scott and husband, Wes, of Plano; grandchildrenm Shelby, Bailey, McKenlee, Ransom, Fielder and Blakely; mother Isabel Clampet, of Haworth, Oklahoma; brothers, Steve Clampet and Jerry Paul Clampet, both of Haworth, Oklahoma; sisters, Sandra Holt, of Haworth, Oklahoma, and Cheryl Hopkins, of Idabel, Oklahoma; and many other relatives and numerous friends.
