Mrs. Crane was born in Gas City and had lived in Elwood for the past 34 years. She retired in 1981 after 23 years at Mercy Hospital. She was a former member of Elwood Eagles Lodge Auxiliary.
Survivors include three sisters, Annabelle Collins (husband-Vance), Agnes Thatcher (husband-Kenneth), and Pearl Street, and a brother, Jack Jones.
Her husband, Frank Crane, died in 1981.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Noffze Funeral Home, Summitville Chapel. Burial will be in Elwood City Cemetery. Calling will be after 11 a.m. Friday at Noffze Funeral Home-Summitville Chapel.
