Shirley M. Harvey, 77, Missouri Valley, passed away Sunday, June 24, at her home. Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 27, at Missouri Valley Community of Christ Church in Missouri Valley.

Shirley was born Aug. 26, 1934, in Plattsmouth, Neb., to Forest and Cordice (Ailshie) Dooley. She attended school in Malvern. Shirley worked at Blue Star for many years and she bartended and worked at a liquor store.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Harvey; brothers, Onley Dooley, Buel Needs and David Needs; and daughter-in-law, Kay Harvey.
Shirley is survived by daughters, Maxine Neil, Missouri Valley; Martha Peasley and husband, Steven, Hornick; Myrna Dozier and husband, Richard, Missouri Valley; Regina Oltmanns and husband, Alan, Neola; Ramona Sell and husband, Terry, Neola; and Waunetta Lynch and husband, Brian, Missouri Valley; sons, Richard Harvey Jr., Moville, and Ronald Harvey, Missouri Valley; sister, Waunetta Hawks, Walla Walla, Wash.; half-brothers, Kenny Dooley and Forest Dooley, both Missouri Valley; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; seven stepsisters; one stepbrother; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Burial was in Calhoun Cemetery near Missouri Valley.
