He was born June 1, 1940 in Dyess, AR to Walter Hugh Bean and Inez (Moore) Bean Willey.
Mr. Bean was a retired U.S. Navy veteran having served during the Vietnam Conflict, was also a retired mechanic for Air Midwest and Tackett Service Station. He was a member of Westside Church of Christ, American Legion, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife: Jennifer Bean, three sons; Eric Bean of Corpus Christi, TX, Jerrel Bean of Springfield, MO, Marc Bean and wife Gail of Hot Springs, AR, one brother; Norman Bean of Yukon, OK, one sister; MaryAnn Morris of Waterford, MI, five grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Graveside funeral services with Military Honors will be held 1:00 PM, Monday, July 2, 2012 at Fayetteville National Cemetery with Mr. Mike Pittman officiating.
