Services for Mr. Arch Carlyle Breece, Jr., 68, of 113 W. Hackberry in Centerville, who died Tuesday, August 8 at Baptist Hospital in Nashville, were held Friday, August 12 at 10 a.m at McDonald Funeral Home in Centerville, conducted by the Rev. Herman Buchanan and the Rev. William Potts.
Burial was in the Sutton Cemetery.
Mr. Breece was a native of Hickman County and a son of A.C. Breece of Centerville, who survives, and the late Myrtle Hinson Breece.
He was a veteran of World War II and was a retired businessman , having operated Breece's Skyview Grocery, and also an antique store for many years. He was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors in addition to his father include his wife, Mrs. Connie DePriest Breece, Centerville; a daughter, Mrs. Rita McIntosh, Jackson, Miss.; a son, A. Carl Breece III, Centerville; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Duncan, Mt. Pleasant, Mrs. Carolyn Conduff, Taylor City, Mich., and Mrs, Martha Jo Pace, Charleston, W. Va,, and six grandchildren."
