Gene "Peanut" Pratt, 60, of Pocahontas died Wednesday, Aug. 4, at St. Bernard's Medical Center.

Born in Independence, Mo., he was a veteran and was of the Baptist belief.

Survivors include his wife, Maggie Reed Pratt; two daughters; a son; two stepchildren; a brother, Zan Pratt of Shell Knob, Mo.; and three sisters, Marie Roach of Rockford, Ill., and Ouida McGlothlin and Fern Reagan, both of Pocahontas.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Clara Pratt.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Antioch Cemetery at Pocahontas, with William Richmond officiating.

Cox-Waymon Funeral Home of Pocahontas is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Bagwell, Jim Palmer, Ronnie Reagan, John Bergman and Roger Reagan.
