Blanche was the second of five children. She graduated from Pocono Township High School in 1932. In 1941, she married Charles Haney. They were members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and moved to Utah in 1948.After Charles died, she married George Taylor in 1956. In 1990, after George died, she married Clarence Albrecht. She worked as a bacteriologist.
