ESTES, Madeleine Lee, age 87, resident of Carrollton, VA passed away at her home on October 30, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer. Madeleine was born in Fairborn, OH on June 14, 1922 and was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jack Estes; parents, George & Beatrice Mosier; brothers, Thaddeus Mosier, Robert Mosier & Michael Mosier; sister, Elizabeth Kern and her son, Floyd Estes. [Survivors Omitted] Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 4th at Southern Memorial Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00pm with a rosary service to follow at 7:00pm. Family and friends will gather for her graveside service on Thursday, Nov. 5th at 11:00am in Forest Hills Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. The family has requested that memorial donations be made in Madeleine's name to Riverside Hospice, 12420 Warwick Blvd., Suite 6E, Newport News, VA 23606-3055, American Cancer Society or a charity of choice.
