(WOODLAND) Services for Lloyd Thomas Stewart, 75, of Woodland were Friday, April 13, 2001, at 3 p.m. at Oak Grove Church of Christ, with Brother Joe Young, Brother W. C. Cofield and Brother Harry Cobb officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Mr. Stewart died Wednesday, April 11, at Wedowee Hospital.
A lifeling resident of Randolph County, he was born on Feb 6, 1926, son of Thomas Wilson and Bernice Bailey Stewart.
He was an Army veteran of World War II, had been
employed at Amoco Fabrics and Fibers and was a member of Oak Grove Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Eunice Stewart of Woodland; three daughters, Lynda Hurley
of Roanoke and Marilyn Messer and Elaine Parmer of Woodland; two sons, James Thomas Stewart and Marlon Stewart of Woodland; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Arnold Rollins, Stewart Hill, Darrell Hill, Norman Stewart, Keith Stewart, Bobby Stewart, Mike Fields and George Smith.
Arrangements were by Benefield Funeral Home, Wedowee.
