Albert, along with his dad, Bluford and his brother David A. Stanton all enlisted in CSA. His dad died of an infection and is buried somewhere in or near Demopolis, AL.David returned from the war and for a short time was a teacher but later farmed in Buchanan Co., Mo. and died in that county in 1928.
