Services will be Thursday for Laura Hodgers, 106, who died Monday at a Healdsburg hospital after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Hodgers was a native of Stockton.
She is survived by her sons, Harry John and Leroy Hodgers, both of Healdsburg; sister, Martha Macado of San Jose; brothers, Adolph Mayo of San Jose, John Mayo of Merced, and Henry Mayo of Hollister; numerous nieces and nephews; eight grandchildren and three step-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
A Catholic blessing service for Mrs. Hodgers will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow (Thursday) at the Healdsburg chapel of Fred Young and Co. Private internment will be at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma. Memorial donations may be made to St. John's School, Healdsburg.
