Martha and Vincie were living with Martha's parents as Martha Kinmon during the census of 1910. Next door was the family of William Robert Mattingly and the man she would marry second, William Oscar Mattingly. The one rare occasion when I saw my dad with tears in his eyes was when telling me of his mother. Her last wish was to be buried in her wedding dress. Unfortunately, the dress would fit her no longer so it was draped over her body.
