Dorothy J. Certosimo, 65, of Long Valley, N.J., died Monday, Dec. 1,
in Long Valley.
She was a chef and waitress for 20 years at Hunters Lodge in Delaware,
retiring in 1997.
Born Jan. 10, 1933, in Lyndhurst, N.J., she was a daughter of the late
William and Ruth Roessler McKnight She lived in Long Valley for 25
years, moving from Wallington.
She was a member of Unico International in Wayne, N.J.
She is survived by a companion, Joseph Ieslin of Long Valley; two
sons, Todd of Hewitt and Darren of Long Valley; a daughter, Kimberly
Navarrete of Long Valley; a brother, John H. Barr of Salem, Ala.;
three sisters, Hazel Llewellyn of Carlstadt, Harriet Pairo of Ringwood
and Helen Jones of Columbus, Ga.; and two grandchildren.
A son, Drew, died in 1977.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:15 sa.m. Monday in
Our Lady of the Mountain Catholic Church in Schooleys Mountain. Call 5
to 8 p.m. Saturday and 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the Cochran Funeral Home,
905 High St., Hackettstown.
Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery on Monday.
The family requests memorials to Atlantic Health Care and Hospice, 33
Bleeker St., Milburn, NJ 07041, or American Cancer Society, Warren
Unit, Osmun House, 4 Opdyke's Lane, Oxford, NJ 07863.
