William P. Allendorph, an old and highly respected resident of this city, died early this morning at the residence, 1817 Seventh Avenue. Mr. Allendorph was born in Troy 80 years ago and had always resided here. He was connected with the office of Cluett & Sons' Music Store in this city for the last 35 years. An active member of the Second Presbyterian Church, Mr. Allendorph was interested in all activities of that congregation and had been Secretary of the Board of Trustees for 30 years. He was the husband of the late Anna Lape Allendorph. One sister, Mrs. James H. Greaton of this city, survives. The funeral will be conducted Friday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the residence, with Rev. Dr. Frederick W. Evans, pastor of the Second Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
