MR RICHARD SIMPKINS native of Belair, Ohio, a resident of Mobile, Ala for the past 11 years, died at the family residence, Bay Front Rd., Friday morning Dec. 29, 1950, at 9 o'clock. Mr. Simpkins was employed as a salesman for the Mobile Tobacco Co. at the time of his death and was a member of Mobile Lodge No. 40, F. and A.M., the Scottish Rite Bodies, and Abba Temple. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Idellah May Barnes Simpkins, Mobile, Ala.; one son, Richard W. Simpkins, Mobile, Ala.; one step-daughter, Mrs. Burton Dunbar, Loxley, Ala.; four brothers, William H. Simpkins, Pleasantville, N.Y.; Oscar Simpkins, Wellough, Ohio; John Simpkins and Ralph Simpkins, both of Point Marion, Pa.; one sister, Mrs. Ida O'Shea, Olean, N.Y.; four grandchildren and other relatives. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of the Higgins Mortuary, Saturday afternoon, Dec. 30, 1950, at 3:30 o'clock. Mobile Lodge No.
4, F. and A.M., will hold Masonic services at the grave. Internment will be in the Pine Crest Cemetery. Funeral arrangements by Higgins Mortuary.

Funeral services for Mr. Richard Simpkins were held from the chapel of Higgins Mortuary Saturday afternoon, Dec. 30, 1950, at 3:30 o'clock. Rev. Howard Reeves and Rev. B.C. Barnes officiated. Members of Mobile Lodge No. 40, F. and A.M., attended in a body. Masonic services were accorded at the graveside in Pine Crest Cemetery. Pall bearers were, active Edd Frenkle, Mason Klippel, Frank Midgett, L.L. Leggett, G.E. Stevens, and Bill Anthony; honorary, Paul Moyneaux, W.R. Rawlings, J.C. Kelly, A.B. Byrd, Geo. Wheat, Fred Smith, and J.L. Sherves. Funeral arrangements by Higgins Mortuary.
