Donna Akers, 31, died Sunday, May 14 at her Ulysses residence. Mrs. Akers was born January 7, 1947 in Springfield, OH, the daughter of Albert and Maxine Hodgson Miller who reside in Springfield. Other survivors are her husband, Ronnie Akers, three sons and three daughters, Perry, Woody, Ronnie, Michelle, Robin and Judy, all at home; and a sister, Judy Hamilton, Springfield, OH. Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 17 in Walnut Grove Freewill Baptist Church at Lowmansville with Reverends James Kelly Caudill and Harold Dean Burchett officiating. Burial was in Castle Cemetery at Ulysses with Jones-Preston Funeral Home handling arrangements. Paintsville Herald, Wednesday, May 17, 1978
