DALMATIA Iva M. Adams-85- of Georgetown Heights passed away Thursday, January 10, 2008 at her residence.
She was born Saturday, April 15, 1922 in Herndon, PA, Daughter of the late George & Katie Bobb Rebuck.
She retired from the Seal Glove factory in Millersburg. She was a member of Trinity UCC in Dalmatia; ladies auxillary of Lower Mahanoy and Hickory Corners Fire Co's.; she was very active with the Dalmatia Area ambulance; she enjoyed playing bingo at the Herndon Senior center; avid quilter and embroidery and enjoyed spending time with her great grandson Tyler.
She was the widow of Edward S. Adams.
Surviving are a Daughter, Lena Reitz of Triangle, VA; a Son, Kenneth R. Adams of Herndon RD; two Brothers Robert Rebuck of Millersburg and Paul Rebuck of Graceville, FL; three Sisters, Myrtle Ferster formerly of Dornsife, Betty Rickert of Herndon, Hannah Long of Dewart; a Grandson, Ricky Adams of Millersburg,; two Granddaughters, Tammie Adams of Herndon RD and Holly Briscoe of VA; a Great-Grandson, Tyler Adams.
She was preceded in death by four brothers Lawrence, Ralph, George, and Mark and a sister Pearl Hoy.
Services will be held at Trinity UCC in Dalmatia on Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Ellen Clement officiating. Interment will follow in the Northumberland Memorial Park in Stonington.
