Carl 'Cap' Bosely, 87, of Flatwoods, WV, died Saturday, March 26, 2005, in the Louis A Johnson VA Medical Center after a long illness.

He was born July 30, 1917, at Gregory, WV, a son of the late Walter Scott Bosely and Maggie Robison Bosely. He was a World War II Army veteran with the 82nd Airborne, a retired employee of Kenton Meadows Co, a farmer, attended the Mt Nebo United Methodist Church, was a member of the Flatwoods-Heaters Lions Club, and was a member of the American Legion.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Laura Bosely; and sister, Lucille Peck.

Survivors include his daughters, Karen Eubank and husband, Ken, of Euclid, OH, Brenda Hicks and husband, Rick, of Jane Lew, WV, Kathy Facemire and husband, Chuck, of Sutton, WV, and Marilyn Fisher and husband, Sonny, of Hackers Valley, WV; sons, Gary Bosely and wife, Joanne, of Sutton, David Bosely and wife, Hallie, of Gassaway, and Carl M Bosely and wife, Kim, of Weston; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2005, at the Stockert-Gibson Funeral Home with the Chaplain Ryan Wagers and the Rev William E. Griffin officiating. Burial will follow in the Lake Lane Cemetery near Heaters, WV.
