Mr. Bauman was a member of the Masonic Lodge # 57, the American Legion Post #64 and a past member of Veterans of Foreign Wars. Mr. Bauman served his country in the Army from 1958 to 1961. He was stationed in Germany. He enjoyed exercising, having coffee with his friends, working on the computer, hunting, fishing and he enjoyed cooking and being around people. He married Dorothy Gallegos on July 3, 1971 in Saguache, CO.
Mr. Bauman was preceded in death by his father and one brother. He is survived by his wife Dorothy Bauman of Salida, CO, mother Hazel Robertson of Salida, CO, brothers William DeMoss, Frank DeMoss Jr. of Nowata, OK, Steve Standeford of Salida, CO, sister Sheriee Morain of Salida, CO, sister-in-law Elizabeth (Jim) Dickson of Salida, CO and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial services are set for 2:00 PM Saturday September 22, 2012 at Lewis and Glenn Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Friends who desire may make memorial contributions to either the Angel of Shavano Hospice or the American Legion through Lewis and Glenn Funeral Home.
