"Mrs. Helen A. Eyssell.

She was a builder and Principal Owner of the Plaza Hotel.

Mrs. Helen A. Eyssell, 83, builder and principal owner of the Palza hotel, 15 East Twenty-fourth street, died Saturday night at the Research hospital. She was the widow of Frederick Eyssell, a druggist here before the World war.

For the last two years she had lived at the home of a son, Henry O. Eyssell, 1607 Arlington avenue. She was born in Germany, and came to the United States fifty-eight years ago, and to Kansas City a year later.

She built the 11-story Plaza hotel in 1921 at a cost of approximately $150,000. The Frederick Eyssell estate, in which she was a principal, also owns the building at 1220-22 Grand avenue which houses the Star Furniture company.

She had been active for many years in the Research hospital auxilliary.

Besides Henry Eyssell, she leaves another son, Eric E. Eyssell, 415 West Seventeeth street. Funeral services will be heald at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday at the Wagner chapel. Burial will be in Mt. Washinton cememtery."
