Ralva W. Watts, of rural Quincy died January 25, 1984 at his home. He was 86.
Watts was born April 10, 1897 in Quincy, the son of William Archey and Cora Millie Ozburn Watts. He was a lifetime resident of the Quincy area.
Watts married Winnie Edith Sherman on August 29, 1918 in Eureka. She died January 30, 1982.
Watts was a farmer and a retired school bus driver.
Surviving Watts are a son; Norman P., Hamilton; a daughter Mary P. Schlotterbeck, Toronto; 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Charlie O., El Dorado; and two sisters; Hallie Crouch and Dona Sherman, both of Hamilton. He was preceded in death by a daughter, six brothers and two sisters, in addition to his wife.
The funeral service was held at the Toronto Presbyterian Church. The afternoon of January 28, 1984. The Rev. David Marsh officiated. Interment was in Watts Haven Cemetery.
A memorial has been established to the church. Contributions can be left at Campbell Funeral Home.
In December 1992 this grave was moved from the Watts Haven Cemetery to the Toronto Cemetery.
