Ms. Beavers, a native of Chattooga County, Ga., was a direct descendent of pioneer settlers of this area.
She was born on Oct. 31, 1913, and was a daughter of the late William N. Beavers and the late Daisy Echols Beavers.
She was retired from the Super D Variety Store and was a member of First Presbyterian Church PCA.
Surviving are two sisters, Mary Beavers Weems of Summerville and Betty Beavers Wood of Douglasville, Ga.; niece, Amy Wood Huckaby of Douglasville; and nephew, Frank Wood of Summerville.
Funeral services will be held today at 3 p.m. from graveside with Rev. Alton Stamey officiating.
Interment in Summerville Cemetery.
