Another Patriot Gone! - Died, at his residence, in Brutus, (near this village) yesterday, NATHAN TIBBILS, Esq. in the 68th year of his age, after a short illness. His funeral will be attended tomorrow (Thursday, the 10th inst.) at 10 o'clock, A.M. from his said residence. The neighbouring Masonic Lodges and brethren are requested to attend in proper clothing.
Mr. Tibbils was an officer of the revolution of 76 and served during its continuance. He was a Patriot of the first order, and has ever been ardent and steadfast in the sacred cause of liberty., He was among the first settlers of this country, and has ever shared the honors and enjoyed the confidence and esteem of his fellow-citizens.
It was earnestly requested by the deceased that his Masonic Brethren attend his funeral - Communicated.
