Miriam was born in Hickory Corners, PA on August 2, 1923, a daughter of the late Sallie (Lenker) and William Klock.
She was a wife of the late Carl F. Alvord.
Miriam is survived by a son Larry Alvord and by one grandchild Inez Deppen.
