Lee Richard Ormsby, of Grover Beach, Calif., died unexpectedly at his residence on Wednesday, June 7, 2006.
Lee was born on June 26, 1950, in Antioch, Calif. He attended schools in Concord, Calif. and graduated from Midland High School, following his family's move to Michigan. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. Upon his discharge, he returned to California, where he attended the University of California at Berkeley. He was employed as a stockbroker. He was a keen tennis player and an avid fan of baseball and football. He had a great enthusiasm in life for competitive sports!
Lee is survived by his parents, Richard L. and Barbara Ormsby and his brother, Alan G. Ormsby, all formerly of Midland, and now of Pismo Beach, Calif.
Services took place on Thursday, June 15, 2006, at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Arroyo Grande and interment took place in the Garden of Remembrance at St. Barnabas.
Funeral direction was entrusted to the Lady Family Mortuaries. Messages of condolence for the family may be forwarded to Lady Family Mortuaries, 555 Fair Oaks Ave., Arroyo Grande, CA 93420.
