William H Campbell was the son of Charles B Campbell (1835-23 Dec 1886) and Julia White Campbell (about 1838-03 Apr 1881).
William married Margaret E. Shinnick (born 15 Oct 1877) on October 5, 1905 in Lowell, Massachusetts. William was employed as a teamster at the time of his marriage. William and Margaret had five children, Margaret E., James William, John Charles, Charles M. and William. Four of the five children died in infancy. Only James William, born July 6, 1907 survived into adulthood.
William and Margaret divorced and Margaret remarried to William F. King.

Lowell Sun Newspaper, Obituary of William Campbell (Wednesday, March 10, 1926, Page 17) The many friends of William Campbell will be pained to learn of his death which occurred this morning at St. John'ns hospital, from injuries he sustained in a fall at his home, 153 Middlesex Street, Tuesday. He leaves one sister, Mrs. Mary E. McDonald; two brothers, John of Newburyport and Edward of St. Louis. The body was removed to the Funeral Home of Undertakers M. H. Mc Donough Sons. Funeral notice later.
