He was owner and operator of Rhodes Shrimp Co. since 1952. Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline ''Jackie''; a son, Gerald ''Buddy'' Willis, Islamorada; three daughters, Gwen Willis Taylor, Marlton, N.J., Betty Lou Rhodes Williams, Monks Corner, S.C., and Betty Rhodes Fitterman, Tampa; a brother, Horace G., Jacksonville; a sister, Margie Snyder, Dade City; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
