Funeral services for Lucille Thomas Coody, 81 will be held at 11:30 AM Thursday, 18 May 2006 at Rose-Neath Bossier Chapel with Pastor Doyce Smith and Brother Billy Franks officiating. Burial will be at 2:00 PM, Thursday at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Martin, LA. Funeral home visitation will be from 5-8 PM, Wednesday, 17 May 2006.
Mrs. Coody, an auto parts counter sales person for many years, died, 13 May 2006 at Willis-Knighton Hospital on Greenwood Road, Shreveport, LA., following a lengthy illness. She was born in Martin, LA, was a resident of Shreveport and former resident of Bossier City, LA.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles C. Coody, 5 brothers and 2 sisters.
She is also survived by her sons: Charles W. Coody and wife Yukiko, Tommy G. Coody, grandsons: David M. Coody, Richard A. Coody, and Charles Christopher Coody, great-granddaughters Kaitlyn Coody, Mikayla Coody, and numerous nieces and nephews
Pallbearers will be family members.
