Dennis Ray Allison, 64, of Spartanburg, SC, died Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Mary Black Memorial Hospital.
Born August 30, 1947 in Spartanburg, he was the son of Margaret Jeanette (Sellars) Allison and the late Robert Alexander Allison.
Mr. Allison retired from Duke Power, was a member of Montgomery memorial United Methodist Church of Pacolet.
A graduate of Pacolet High School Class of 1967, a veteran of the Merchant Marines, and a member of The Shop.
Surviving are wife, Sharon; son, Steven Allison and wife Dana; grandchildren, Shyanne Allison, Saylor Allison; son, Shane Allison; grandchild, Sebastian Allison all of Spartanburg; brother, Wayne Allison and wife Terrie of Pacolet.
Visitation was 6:00-8:00 PM on Sunday, June 24, 2012 at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel.
Funeral services were held at 3:00 PM on Monday, June 25, 2012 at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Dennis Tessnier and the Rev. Kelly Gallamore. Burial was in Pacolet Memorial Gardens.
